HA14 Mooring for Rent

IMPORTANT: This mooring has a pickup float and a bridle. The pickup float is connected to the loop on one leg of the bridle. That leg is connected to the second leg by a stainless clip. Once secured by the first leg, undo the clip and lead the second leg around the bow to secure it. When you depart, reverse the process. Do NOT just drop the second leg, or the mooring lines will tangle into a mess when you depart. The mooring is in a protected spot inside the promontory that separates Harris Bay from Schoolhouse Bay on the South side of Bon Accord Harbour, directly opposite the RNZYS station and the Kawau Boating Club with a bar and restaurant. The dinghy landing at either location provides access to the trail system that links Bon Accord to North Cove and Vivian Bay. Around the corner, the landing in Schoolhouse Bay is the start of a trail that leads to Mansion House Bay. Good location for cell phone coverage and internet, also within range of the wifi network at the Boating Club.
